Residential House Parent – Weekday
Location: St Augustine, FL
Schedule: Monday 9:30 AM – Thursday 8:00 PM (Overnight stays required)

Total Compensation: $49,300 – $50,400 annually
Includes base pay, sleep time compensation, and bonus opportunities

$1,000 Sign-On Bonus
($500 at 90 days, $500 at 1 year)

 
About the Role

We’re looking for compassionate, dependable individuals (and couples) to serve as Residential House Parents, providing a safe, structured, and home-like environment for youth in a therapeutic residential setting.

This is more than a job—it’s an opportunity to mentor, guide, and positively impact the lives of children with mental and behavioral health needs.

What You’ll Do

Provide supervision, structure, and daily care for youth 
Create a safe, nurturing, home-like environment 
Support behavior management and crisis intervention 
Plan activities, meals, and daily routines 
Transport youth to school, appointments, and activities 
Maintain documentation and medication records 
Participate in team meetings and trainings 
Serve as a positive role model and mentor

Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required 
Either: 
2+ years working with youth with behavioral/mental health needs
OR 
Bachelor’s degree in a related field 
Valid Driver’s License 
Clean background (per Affidavit of Good Moral Character) 
 
Important Details

Overnight stay on campus is required during shifts 
Both single and couple houseparent positions available
