Join Us as a House Parent Couple and Change Lives!
We are excited to welcome a House Parent couple who feels called to make a lasting, positive difference in the lives of young boys. In this full-time, live-in role, you and your spouse will create a warm, supportive home for 6–8 boys, helping guide, mentor, and inspire them during a pivotal time in their lives.
As House Parents, you’ll be part of a close-knit team of like-minded couples who share a passion for nurturing and encouraging young people. Together, you’ll help establish a healthy, structured daily routine that promotes growth, responsibility, and confidence. Your days will include helping the boys start their mornings, enjoy breakfast together, get to school or appointments, complete chores, participate in recreation and exercise, focus on study time, maintain good hygiene, share devotions, and wind down for bedtime.
You’ll also play an important role in supporting each child’s overall development by maintaining medical records, coordinating school and extracurricular activities, and ensuring the cottage and vehicle are always clean, organized, and safe. Through ongoing training and mentorship, you’ll model practical life skills and provide the guidance that helps these boys build strong foundations for the future.
The children we serve are privately placed by families navigating challenging circumstances. They attend an online charter school on campus supported by dedicated learning coaches, participate in Christian counseling, and take part in Therapeutic Horsemanship classes during the week—programs designed to help them grow emotionally, academically, and spiritually.
Our beautiful 300+ acre campus just outside the City of Newberry offers an incredible environment to live and work. Residents enjoy a scenic 5K nature trail, stocked fishing ponds, and ball fields, with easy access to nearby Lake Murray and Lake Greenwood. Adventure is always within reach—the mountains are just 1.5 hours away and the beach is only 3 hours away!
Newberry itself is a charming town with a “movie-set-like” downtown, vibrant year-round festivals, and cultural gems like the Newberry Opera House and Newberry College. Plus, we’re conveniently located between Greenville, Columbia, Charleston, and Myrtle Beach.
If you and your spouse feel called to be agents of change in the lives of young people, we would love to connect with you. Relocation assistance may be available for the right couple.
