Epworth Children's Home

Company Overview

About Us

Since 1896, Epworth Children’s Home has been a place for children to grow, learn and be loved.

Epworth Children’s Home has helped thousands of kids over the past 128 years.

Children ages 12 and up come to us from severely stressed family systems and our goal is to nurture and love them by providing education, counseling, medical care, and spiritual enrichment.

Our 32-acre campus provides children with comprehensive care needed to overcome traumatic childhood experiences and transform their lives.

Epworth cottage staff uses CARE (Children and Residential Experiences) childcare philosophy, developed by Cornell University.

The model teaches our staff how to work in the best interest of children and create conditions for positive change while in residential group care.

As children are discharged from Epworth and move into new realities, the staff work with each child to prepare him/her for transition.
Epworth has many stories of success and hope.

These stories are available for you to read on our website: www.epworthchildrenshome.org.

For 128 years we continue to live out our mission to serve children, youth and families through caring, safe, Christian communities, where hurts are healed, hope is nurtured, and faith in God, self, and others is developed.
